[SOLVED] Strong scaling and aliasing artifacts in some Qt applications

This appears to be an issue with display scaling, which I've set to 1.1. After setting it to 1.0 and rebooting, everything looks normal, albeit way too small on my laptop screen.
Force fonts DPI is set to 106.

From the About System window:
KDE Plasma Version: 5.12.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.44.0
Qt Version: 5.10.1
Kernel Version: 4.15.14-1-ARCH

I'm using the extra/nvidia 390.48-2 driver for my GTX 675MX.

Screenshots:

Other artifacts I've noticed include transparent or black horizontal lines in Kate or Konsole, which are especially noticeable when highlighting text.

Could this be due to some misconfiguration on my part (as this is my first Arch installation) or is it more likely to be a bug?
