chromium/chrome stuttering/lag during scrolling?
Hey
I've been trying to get chromium/chrome work smoothly but I can't seem to find solution for it. While browsing some web pages and scrolling I notice massive stuttering when moving down or up the page using scroll wheel. Another strange issue I've is when I type website like "youtube" after pressing letter Y it freezes for 1-2 seconds then gives suggestion youtube. I've tested this on KDE/xfce4 desktops.
I've i7-4790K CPU and GTX 1080 ti with nvidia drivers and latest microcode. I've tried to disable vsync from KDE settings and different compensatory but it doesn't appear to have any effect. Another thing I noticed was if I have youtube playing in one tab and switch back to the video from another it also likes to freeze for 1-2 seconds.
any suggestions?

well it seems I can't do anything about it until new nvidia drivers or chrome is released.. till then use chromium I suppose

I've latest nvidia, chrome/chromium installed it would seem that chromium is working smoothly while chrome suffers in performance. I'm perfectly happy to use chromium while waiting for new nvidia drivers or chrome version to fix the issue if that is the case here.
