PulseAudio Bluetooth Speaker Distortion

Hello,

I was able to install my bluetooth speaker just fine with PulseAudio and it did work flawlessly. Today all out of a sudden the sound coming out of the speaker is heavily distorted. I cannot remember having changed a thing. I already tried to add to /etc/pulse/daemon.conf
avoid-resampling = yes #(Needs PA11 or higher)
default-sample-rate = 48000
as suggested by Arch wiki but it did not help.
Anyone has a clue?
Thanks in advance.

EDIT: sound from internal speakers is just fine.

Re: PulseAudio Bluetooth Speaker Distortion

if that happens again, open `pavucontrol` and make sure that on the "Configuration" tab, the bluetooth device is set to A2DP and not to a headset profile.
