Dell Alienware Nvidia Multi Screens Problem

Hello Guys,

I have really iritatic problem. I'm trying to connect 2 screens to my alienware. When it's done then I have 2 screens which my nvidia drive see as one. When I'm trying to move mouse on 2nd screen it's moving screen from 1st screen to left. Everything what is on 1st screen (this one is my left screen) is moving to left (there is nothing). It's quite hard to describe that but I hope you will understand what I'm trying say (write) you.

It's weird for me because a few months ago everything was fine. I stopped using multi screens for a few months and now I have this problem. I guessing that something was change in nvidia driver ;/

Nvidia drive detect only one screen with 3000x1920 pixels but when I will go to system settings there are two screens. I tried set up screens from system settings but it doesn't work also.

If I can deliver you some more informations please let me know.

Below you can find some outputs:

Re: Dell Alienware Nvidia Multi Screens Problem

Don't do that

What "system settings" are you talking about?

Your main monitor is panning, try

xrandr --output DP-0 --panning 0x0
#Or if that didn't work try to set all of them explicitly, adjust the left and right ofs as needed
xrandr --output DP-0 --auto --output eDP-1-1 --auto --left-of DP-0 --output HDMI-1-1 --auto --right-of DP-0

I'm not all that versed with offhand xrandr config so these might be wrong. On another note why are you using nvidia-340xx ? Your card is still supported by the current nvidia driver.
