[solved] Where to request changes to package dependencies?

I want to request a change to a package's dependencies. Is this an ok place to do that?

If so, community/simple-scan requires both extra/sane & extra/colord packages. For those three to work together, extra/colord-sane package is also needed. At the very least, it should be optional for simple-scan, if not required.

This should go to the bug tracker.  First read the wiki on how to properly make such a report:

Thanks Trilby. I read through that before posting here and somehow misunderstood it. Thought it said feature requests should only go to the upstream maintainers. Clearly that's not the case. Thanks for setting me straight!
