New programs not adding to KMenu

I just did a reinstall of my Arch linux with Plasma5 so that I could do it with  an UEFI entry instead of a BIOS entry, anyways, all seems good so far, except for one thing. Before I reinstalled, whenever I would download and install a new program/app, in this case Firefox, it would automatically give it an entry inside KMenu -> Internet, or say I installed Steam, it would give it an entry in KMenu -> Games. However now it's not doing that, I've restarted and it still doesn't update or add an entry. Any solution to this? Thanks.

P.S. Not it didn't put them in Lost and Found either.

Re: New programs not adding to KMenu

Please check if a .desktop file was created for the newly installed program.

Just looking in my /Desktop folder I don't see any .desktop files, so no?

Just home.desktop and trash.desktop

EDIT: Suddenly 12 hours later it works no.

A more correct way to check would be pacman -Ql thepackage | grep .desktop
