cookies gone missing after chromium update

It seems like cookies are gone after upgrading chromium (65.0.3325.181-7 -> 66.0.3359.117-1)

Not a big deal, but I think it's worthy to report. No other profile data (localstorage, bookmarks, addons, history) was lost. Weird

Same thing happened to me upgrading google-chrome (65.0.3325.181-1 -> 66.0.3359.117-1). I wondered if it was just me.

I didn't loose cookies after the upgrade to chromium 66.0.3359.117-1. I checked after reading this post, and they are still there. All systems are bit different, though, and I don't doubt that some did have cookies go missing.
