[SOLVED] How to properly setup monitors with different sizes.

There's a lot of similar question, however, I wasn't able to find an answer.
I have Full HD laptop screen and 4k monitor above. After few hours of trying everything I came up with good looking scaling:

xrandr --dpi 276 --fb 3840x3780 \
       --output HDMI-2 --mode 3840x2160_24.00 --pos 0x0 \
       --output eDP-1  --mode 1920x1080       --pos 0x2160     --panning 2880x1620+0+2160     --scale 1.5x1.5

By "simulating" higher DPI on Full HD display I get comparable DPI on both monitors. Then I can scale everything in KDE settings.

Everything looks fine but the area that I can access with the mouse isn't just those monitors it's the whole 3840x3780 rectangle. How can I make the accessible area for the mouse not to be a whole rectangle but just my monitors - 2 rectangles below each other with different widths.
I could resize it so the widths would be the same but then I wouldn't be able to set good scaling for one monitor.

Edit: And there is another problem - increasing emulation higher resolution on FullHD makes KDE super slow.

Ups, after while of using that super "clever" scaling I have few not that good observations. Lots of programs don't seem to care about dpi so few apps have still super tiny everything. And KDE is trying to change my layout since it's no possible to turn off screen and layout part of settings. So I could use bit help with that too.

The two monitors are adjacent, thus you should™ get mouse barriers - I could imagine that the panning interferes. Why do you set it itfp?

There's no obvious excess (but for the cubic textures, what might impact blurring) at the combined size.
Is the slowness strictly related to the scaling or does it also happen if you just use panning to increase the root window?

What are "lots of programs" and to what extent do they "not care about dpi"? Fonts should be scaled by everything that relies on fontconfig.

"kcmshell[5] kded" (idr, whether it's a version suffix) should allow you to disable/stop various KDE daemons, whether the one that bothers you is among them, idk :-(

That came to my mind as first solution but I wasn't able to find anything that could make mousebarriers.

"I'm moving in the window by pushing borders with the mouse" actually is panning and scaling by 1.5 should simply make the displayed area bigger by making all content smaller.

1st off, suspend the KDE compositor (SHIFT+Alt+F12) to not face artifacts by an stale GL context.

xrandr --output HDMI-2 --auto  --panning 1x1 --scale 1x1 --output eDP-1  --auto --panning 1x1 --scale 1x1 # basically resert stuff, if you'v

Sorry don't know how to explain it better - monitor shows still 1920x1080 but whole desktop has 1.5 times more so I see just part.

That is "panning" and not the outcome of the --scale switch. The latter maps a logical resolution into the physical one.
(Also please ignore the monitor OSD, it will always reflect the physical resolution)

Ou that makes sense - I have been experimenting so --panning 1920x1080 was still active from last xrandr call.
