Gmail in Thunderbird...

Hi,

I would like to get my Gmail in Thunderbird but the settings I have found on web do not seem to work....

Anyone out there use gmail in this way I could do with some help

Got a real cool chick I want to get to know ...(named Bob  :? )

/me must keep off those kind of sites

I just set it up by following this. It's written for Tbird 0.x, so some of the dialogs have changed, but otherwise it's straightforward. In brief, it's POP3 w/SSL on port 995, and SMTP w/TLS on port 587. If you get stuck, let me know.

thats the one I followed but I must have fscked up somewhere lol. ...

Bloody smtp server was not set ....also I forgot to set POP doh!

should be ok now
