[SOLVED] Installing arch while keeping fedora LVM partition for /home

Hello,

I currently have F27 installed but want to migrate to arch. I have an LVM system setup where / and /home are in different LVM partitions (volumes? -- always forget the right numenclature).

Is it possible to install arch on the partition system the Fedora already has setup, and ensure that /home is kept, while it installs the system in / ?

Are there any guides out there on how to do this?

Thanks,

Paulo matos

Just install as normal but only format the root LV, keep the home LV as it is before mounting it.

No, it didn't "fix" anything. It just shifted the brokeness one space to the right. - jasonwryan

True, it was much more straightforward than I expected. Thanks.
