[solved] After GTK upgrade apps look different

Hi,

after I upgraded gtk2 ([08/02/06 12:14] upgraded gtk2 (2.8.20-1 -> 2.10.1-1)) all applications using this toolkit look different, e.g. have bold borders in the menus.

Where can I find out which changes were made to the appearance?

I guess you're using a theme engine that hasn't been recompiled against gtk 2.10. Could you supply me with a list of packages on your system that still have files in /usr/lib/gtk-2.0/2.4.0 ?

Thanks for your fast reply,

/usr/lib/gtk-2.0/2.4.0/engines/libxfce.so is owned by gtk-xfce-engine-svn 22309-1 which is out of shadowhands xfce4-svn repo

Ok, after recompiling gtk-xfce-engine-svn it is working fine again. The PKGBUIDS by shadowhand can be found here.

And thanks again for the hint,

EDIT:  Shadowhand has updated his repo
