I run GNOME on my desktop for the moment and wanted to see what Deepin feels like, so I installed it. The first thing I noticed that I needed to install another clutter and one other thing (dunno what atm, not at home). So I did, restarted X and started Deeping. Wel it started and I got me a wallpaper, but nothing else. No top panel, no right mouse menu nothing. So I restarted the system and tried again. Again same thing, so did a search if I miss installed something did not seem the case and I followed the wiki from A to Z. I guess something is messing it up, but not a clue what it can be.

To get a minimal desktop interface, you may start by installing deepin group.
Paste your pacman log.
Moving to NC...

My default desktops are Plasma and TDE rather than GNOME, but other than that, I'm experiencing the same issue. Deepin fails to start, nothing shows up. Deepin apps do work fine on Plasma and TDE though, but the session is blank. And when I try to start e.g. dde-launcher, all it shows is a segfault:
vistaus@ThinkArch ~/D/b/build> dde-launcher
fish: 'dde-launcher' terminated by signal SIGSEGV (Address boundary error)
vistaus@ThinkArch ~/D/b/build>
I already tried removing all Deepin config files and folders (despite the fact that I hadn't even configured it yet) to no avail. How do I get deepin to work? (and if you guys need more information, let me know!)

Please do not necrobump. The OP has not been here since June 2018, so seems unlikely to respond.
