Where are packages being unpacked?

I am trying to create a new package, and all goes well until the package() call where it says binary doesn't exist although build() went ok. I want to look into this directory I cd to: `cd $pkgname-$pkgver`. Where is it?

Re: Where are packages being unpacked?

It is created under 'pkg' in the current working directory.

If you want more information please post the complete command used and output generated (along with a PKGBUILD if it's not in the AUR).

Re: Where are packages being unpacked?

Packages are built  in whichever directory you build them in. Usually in the directory with the PKGBUILD in where you ran makepkg.

How about posting your PKGBUILD, that way we can see what's going on.

Re: Where are packages being unpacked?

Thanks for the help, I decided not to go through the pain using go to compile the source and instead install the provided binaries by upstream. New package: docker-machine-driver-packet.

Re: Where are packages being unpacked?

In which case you should name the package docker-machine-driver-packet-bin.
