Upgrading to Xorg 1.20 causes secondary GPU to fail to init monitors

I use 2 GPUs and 6 monitors.  Allowing Xorg to upgrade to 1.20 (along with xf86-video-amdgpu-18.0.1-2) causes the monitors on the Radeon 6850 in PCI slot 2 to fail, while the monitors on the Radeon 7770 in slot 1 init fine.  In journalctl as kscreen.xrandr brings them up, I get a kernel message that the texture pitch is invalid and must be alighed with 64 and fails the request.

Using the Mesa 18.0.4-1 driver version.
