Brother DCP-J105 open source drivers

Are there any open source drivers to Brother DCP-J105?
The only ones I found are from Brother website. Are they open source?

Re: Brother DCP-J105 open source drivers

When you looked at the driver page on the brother website did it not list the license for you to read before downloading?
Edit:
See also https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/brother-dcpj105/ which may need fixing.

I didn't click on download and now I see, it appears after clicking to download. Cupswrapper is GPL.
brscan has some Eula, dunno what it is.

So I just need to make sure that the device works on Linux as good as on Windows. I have DCP-135, but usability is quite worse on Linux compared to Windows, many printing options don't work.
