I finaly instaled Arch linux, but when i created the user, and punched in the correct password, but it says invalid login. I even tried to make an account with no password, but to no avail. INVALID LOGIN every time. Does anyone know what is causing this?
EDIT: root works, but i cant login as root in kde, plus it is a security risk. (I know never use root)
P.S: Running in VirtualBox, Host Windows 10

Welcome to the arch linux forums ZizOmni. How did you set the password on the new account you created?

By using the command passwd.

The actual error message would be "login incorrect" - is "invalid login" soe translation or the actual error message?
Login as root and run
grep <username> /etc/passwd /etc/shadow
Then post the output.
NOTICE! THIS WILL REVEAL THE PASSWORD HASH!
Thus ideally use the passwordless login name for "<username>" or change the password to sth. stupid like "foo" before doing this.
