[SOLVED] printing on a printer shared by a windows server

Hi,

I have a recent problem for printing on a printer shared on a windows server. It was working and then "misteriously" stopped to do so.

I used to configure the printer through the cups web interfas http://localhost:631/ and use the following configuration:

 smb://login:password@UPD1/IMPRESSORAS.CA/IMPRESSORAS_IFES

I deleted the printer and configured a new one. The problem still goes on. If I print a test page, I get an error and printer is paused.

When did you last update? AFAIK there used to be an issue with samba 4.8.1 that should be fixed with 4.8.2

Thank you very much. Problem solved. I did upgrade samba on 2018-05-08 11:59 (upgraded samba (4.7.6-1 -> 4.8.1-1)).
