Intel iGPU overclocking

I switched hardware and I am trying to overclock the iGPU of my i5 6600k. The iGPU frequency in UEFI is set to 1300 mhz, but when Im booted into linux the frequency is restricted to 1150 mhz.

Under /sys/class/drm/card0/gt_max_freq_mhz and gt_boost_freq_mhz are both 1150.
increasing it doesnt work:

echo 1200 > /sys/class/drm/card0/gt_boost_freq_mhz
bash: echo: write error: Invalid argument

lowering does:

echo 1100 > /sys/class/drm/card0/gt_boost_freq_mhz

Whats the reason gt_boost_freq_mhz cant be increased over base frequency or what do I have to change for the kernel to acknowledge the UEFI frequency?
