Hello,
I cannot upgrade packages, getting the following error:
error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies)
:: installing nvidia-390xx-utils (390.67-2) breaks dependency 'nvidia-390xx-utils=390.59' required by nvidia-390xx-lts
Offline
It appears the nvidia-390xx-lts package was not updated in time with the nvidia-390xx-utils package. This is a bug...

I have exactly the same problem. Is there a workaround?
PS: I do not have the package "nvidia-390xx-lts" installed (should it?)

Then you cannot possibly have "exactly the same" problem. As you will notice that the error message specifically states an incompatibility with nvidia-390xx-lts

Ah, you are correct (I was not paying proper attention). I get this:
error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies)
:: installing nvidia-390xx-utils (390.67-2) breaks dependency 'nvidia-390xx-utils=390.59' required by linux414-nvidia-390xx
:: installing nvidia-390xx-utils (390.67-2) breaks dependency 'nvidia-390xx-utils=390.59' required by linux415-nvidia-390xx
:: installing nvidia-390xx-utils (390.67-2) breaks dependency 'nvidia-390xx-utils=390.59' required by linux44-nvidia-390xx
:: installing nvidia-390xx-utils (390.67-2) breaks dependency 'nvidia-390xx-utils=390.59' required by linux49-nvidia-390xx
Should I uninstall the older version, and then reinstall?

linux414-nvidia-390xx
linux415-nvidia-390xx
linux44-nvidia-390xx
linux49-nvidia-390xx
Those packagess don't exist in arch linux repos, they may come from manjaro repos.
Are you sure you're using Arch Linux, ArchHans ?

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

I am using manjaro, thought that was arch based (with aur)

You thought wrong; Manjaro is not Arch. They may have started with Arch, but they have made configuration changes, added things, and made installation decisions for you over which you or we have no clue. Manjaro support questions must be taken to the Manjaro forums. We do not support Manjaro -- Just like you agreed to when you registered earlier today.

My apologies. It was not my intention to break the rules.
