About XGL on GNOME
I don't know how XGL works right now but I've got a few questions:
1) Can GNOME now be closed when XGL is opened ? Earlier, when XGL was opened with GNOME, I wasn't able to quit GNOME and have to CTRL-ALT-RETURN instead..
2) Can we still have problems with media players ? I was having problems with mplayer (trying xv,x11,etc etc)

I use gnome + compiz on XGL here and I don't have any of these problems.

Which repo are you using ? Can you please tell me which packages you've installed ? And any configurations ?
