Hello, does anyone use a K10 amd processor? If so,I have noticed that while on windows_7,the CPU fan with cool and quiet ON from BIOS, on a GIGABYTE 790FX northbridge motherboard, cpufan rises up to 5700+ RPM and keeps it cool enough. In Arch even though, I have set it up PWM 255 from fancontrol from a low temp, I do not see or hear more than 3500 RPM from fancontrol and just raises temperature of at least +10C from win_7_OS under the same conditions.I have seen forum about K10temp and so about false report of temp but nothing about giving more power-RPM to fan.Thanks in Advance.
