Grub-mkconfig

Why is grub-mkconfig not detecting my Linux installation on a second hard drive? This only happens with arch. My main arch distro is on /dev/sda1 and the bootloader is on /dev/sda. The second hard drive also has a Linux install with a bootloader on /dev/sdb. Arch refuses to see this system. Ubuntu, Antergos, ArchLabs, Debian, openSUSE have no problem detecting this second Linux install. Do I miss something here?
