Hello,
I just install Archlinux some days ago and i have a problem with the CPU temperature.
I think it is because of graphics, but don't sure
In debian/ubuntu the CPU temp is about 32º and with arch is near 50º
This is inxi -F

Laptop? Tower? Racked server?
32º seems really low. That is only a 5º rise over "Standard" temperature. And Spain is unlikely to be much cooler than that this time of year.
50º is not that hot. I just checked by system at home -- it is a laptop with the lid closed, not doing anything but serving ssh. It is at about 44º on all cores in a room that is pretty close to 27º

Just as a comparison, my z800 workstation Xeon cores run an average of 40c, in South Texas, office temps are around 75f. If I work them hard, they can get to 70c but that is very rare.

isolate the multi-user.target (to figure whether the GUI causes some load in the IGP) and try to get sensor data on the ambient as well as the fan speed.

Thank you seth, but i don't understand what i have to do. I don't know to do that. Please explain a little bit more.
I have dual boot with ubuntu, and here is the inxi -F
Ubuntu don't use xf86-video-intel, but if i don't install it in arch, i can't get HDMI working
Today is really hot in my home, so temp is higher than normal, but is 38,5º, 10º minor than in Arch.

Can you just try w/o xf86-video-intel (and thus temporarily w/o HDMI)?
