[solved] Old Dell Vostro 420, differing temperatures between cores

I'm busy trying to bring an old computer that I found for $25 at an estate sale back from the dead, I've kind of run into something weird with the temperature readouts and Google says it could be heatsink related however I'd like a second opinion from all y'all because motherboard hardware isn't exactly my strong suit.

I've been performing diagnostics on the memory and such for the past couple of days, so a LiveUSB has really been indispensable.  When I get into it and do a "sensors" I'm seeing these readings:

it8720-isa-0290
Adapter: ISA adapter
in0: +1.12v (min 0, max 4)
in1: +3.07v (min 0, max 4)
in2: +3.34v (min 0, max 4)
+5v: +3.06v (min 0, max 4)
in4: +3.04v (min 0, max 4)
in5: +2.14v (min 0, max 4)
in6: +1.12v (min 0, max 4)
5vsb: +2.62v (min 0, max 4)
vbat: +3.12v (min 0, max 4)
fan1: 1566 rpm
fan2: 838 rpm
fan3: 0 rpm
temp1: +42.0 c (low -1, high 127, thermal diode)
temp2: +41.0 c (low -1, high 127, thermistor)
temp3: -62.0 c (low -1, high 127, Intel PECI)
intrusion0: ALARM

coretemp-isa-0000
core0 46.0c high 74 crit 100
core1 41.0c high 74 crit 100
core2 49.0c high 74 crit 100
core3 49.0c high 74 crit 100

dell_smm_virtual-0
Processor Fan: 1566 rpm
Motherboard Fan: 843 rpm

Do I have to be concerned by any of this?  The "intrusion0: ALARM" part is really sticking out at me, but I've tried Googling that too under "intrusion0 alarm sensors-detect" and such.  All I get are pages and pages of results for home burglar alarms.  Is this something I should buy thermal paste for while I'm shopping for a new HDD or can I leave it alone?

I can set intrution alarm in UEFI (I always turn it of thou)
I think it's that you will get notified if someone has opened your computer case. Not totally sure, someoe else might know better.

I possess a device, in my pocket, that is capable of accessing the entirety of information known to man.
I use it to look at funny pictures of cats and to argue with strangers.

Oh and since the case has already been opened (to take out the old HDD which I assume had sensitive information on it) it's going to trip the alarm anyway, right.  That would definitely answer the intrusion part if so.

Those temperatures looks fine, you have 4 separate cores, even if all are on the same die under the same heatsink there will always be a temperature gradient, specially if one of the cores is idle and one or some of the others are under load.

Okay!  Good to know.

I'll probably end up buying some new paste anyway since it can't hurt.
