[SOLVED] AMDGPU let Xorg not work

All my packages has update to the lasted version.

My laptop have two video cards, intel (G520) and AMD (R5 M430).

Of course Intel is work good with xf86-video-intel driver.

But I found my lightdm crashed when I reboot after I install xf86-video-amdgpu driver.

I try to open gdm and GNOME(wayland) , they worked. So I guess Xorg have some problem.

Then I use the method in the AMDGPU wiki to add the moudles in the KMS

I TRYto add the dc=0 and dms=0 in the boot but they all not work.

Try passing "amdgpu.dc=0" to the kernel and post an updated xorg log.

radeon is loaded instead of amdgpu, so any xorg attempt at using amdgpu will fail, I suspect you will have to do https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/AM … parameters

And your intel card is your primary renderer, you don't want to start xorg on the amdgpu card directly. To make use of the AMD card you will want to read https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/PRIME

Not work. Of course I try to add amdgpu.dms=0 and other amdgpu parameters in the boot. Not work.

My AMD card is not the Southern Islands (SI) and Sea Islands (CIK), so I don't need to enable the support.

I try to add a 10-gpu.conf file like the PRIME wiki sample to let intel video card be the primary.

BUT!!

That let my AMDGPU can't work and even find it. The xrandr just can find intel card.

I thought you "use[d] the method in the AMDGPU wiki", apparently you didn't. Provide a complete dmesg.
