Adding jumpfocus and geometric navigation to DWM

Hey everyone,
New to the forum but i have been using DWM for a few years now.

I am interested in adding the ability to jump focus in the stack by MODKEY2 + # where # is an index number of the window list for the currently active tag.
The current focusstack function only has the ability to increment through the list for each tag. I believe this would complement the tab patch, allowing a user to select a window as we select tabs on browsers.

I am also interested in adding the ability to use MODKEY2 + h,j,k,l to switch focus 'geometrically' for the default master-stack tiling arrangement in DWM
This seem as simple as having MOD2+h focus on the master window and MOD2+l increment the focus.

Wondering if anyone has had any success making such a patch or can provide any advice before i start to break DWM apart.

All the best,
mattdwi
