I have a workstation (Lenovo P520) with Lenovo Dual Codecs, and don't really know how to get sound to work in ALSA or Pulseaudio.
It works in Gentoo (line out works, the headphone jack on front doesn't work in any tried distribution Debian, Ubuntu, Gentoo) but not in Arch Linux. Perhaps there is something iv'e missed out. Hope this is the right subforum for my question.

Edit: I'll stick with "line out" at least that port works.
