Hey all
I have this weird problem with my keyboard.
For some reason it randomly stops working for a few moments to get stuck on a key stroke the next moment.
Its like it looses connection or something. But sometimes it does register my keystrokes and put it all down at once and than hangs on backspace when i try to remove the 10 characters it just put down.
It not always get stuck on a keystroke but it is very annoying if it does. Typing something to have to start over again because it gets stuck on backspace.
Also, typing passwords in a terminal is incredibly annoying because i cant see if it registered my keystroke or not.
Im very surprised my keyboard has survived the beating it got a few times out of frustration.
I dont have this problem in windows. i tried it in various linux distros and they all have the same problem. I eventually switched back to arch to have the same problem again.
Sometimes it doesnt happen for hours but as soon as it starts my typing feels laggy and my bloodpressure starts rising. (it happend halfway this line and it took me almost 2 minutes to write it)
Than i take out the batteries and put them back in to be able to type without issue for a few minutes if im lucky.
I have a microsoft sculpt wireless keyboard.
I know you guys probably want to see the output of something but i have no idea what you need to see. Let me know and ill provide.
I hope you guys can figure out how to solve this because i think im going to kill this keyboard if it goes on for much longer. Or eventually switch back to windows because the problem does not exist in windows, but i dont want that. Did that some time ago and here i am again ![]()
I would get a new keyboard but love this one as long as it works.
Thanks
