could not stat file /etc/pacman.d/hooks/fwupdate-efi-copy.hook

I've just updated the machine and I think I missed some message.
I get this error whatever I do with pacman and it fails:

# pacman -R pcmciautils
checking dependencies...

Packages (1) pcmciautils-018-8

Total Removed Size: 0.05 MiB

:: Do you want to remove these packages? [Y/n]
error: could not stat file /etc/pacman.d/hooks/fwupdate-efi-copy.hook: No such file or directory
error: failed to commit transaction (failed to run transaction hooks)

that's cryptic to me.

The file it was pointing to does not exist anymore...  why is that? and why is pacman looking for that hook specifically ?

ok I think I got what you meant: removing the symbolic link fixes the problem.
