No sound

I have installed KDE but i have no sound. The sound icon in the corner says volume 100%. I have no idea how to fix this. please help me.

You mean sound effects? They must be enabled, either in the setup-thingie the first time you login (where you answer how powerfull your computer is) or in kcontrol.

have you ever load alsa as DAEMONS in /etc/rc.conf every thing about this part is written in wiki.
