hey guys,
i use gnome.
i want to extend my desktop.
i have installed bumblebee since it had intel and nvidia graphics. (my laptop is Dell Inspiron 15 gaming 7567 if that helps.)
i tried to look it up on google but i couldn't find any solution for my issue.

Why if you are using bumblebee did you run nvidia-xconfig which will generate an incompatible config producing exactly the issue you describe with Xorg?
Edit:
grammar duplicate why
Edit2:

Hybrid graphics won't (yet) work on wayland and in any even, everything you do wrt X11 is moot.

i don't know if the output is wired to intel or nvidia chip.

I see, do you recommend shifting to another desktop enviroment?
Also , i don't know why during login Gnome on Xorg goes on a login loop, do i need to post any extra data for more information?.
Edit:
I also wanted to point out i'm not getting any result like HDMI:disconnected in xrandr output.
also my listproviders result "0" seems wierd.

The desktop environment is less relevant than the display server.
As for the login loop, your journal would be helpful, but an X11 server that enforces nvidia while bumblebee suppresses the initial loading of the nvidia kernel module will fail for sure, so clean up that mess first.

Finally got Gnome on xorg working.

I have removed xorg.conf in /etc/X11/ and followed the wiki to make changes to /etc/bumblebee/xorg.conf.nvidia.

It would seem that unless the HDMI output is actually DP-1, it's connected to the nvidia chip, what means you cannot utilize it w/o activating the nvidia chip.
See https://github.com/Bumblebee-Project/Bu … vidia-chip and also the section below.

Followed the steps given under extra screen. By the way , UseEDID and Option "AutoAddDevices" "false" are by default true in my case so i left them as they are.
But, $ optirun true gives following error:
[12546.655703] [ERROR]The Bumblebee daemon has not been started yet or the socket path /var/run/bumblebee.socket was incorrect.
[12546.655734] [ERROR]Could not connect to bumblebee daemon - is it running?
Also, what does "blob" mean?

There's only one output and unfortunately you only posted the .8 logs (ie. for bumblebee)
Did you create an xorg.conf as instructed on the bumblebee wiki? What does the updated Xorg.0.log look like?
Once two output providers show up: do you have the xrandr --setprovideroutputsource call in place?

creating "xorg.conf" as instructed on the bumblebee wiki results in login loop,I have to remove it to login.
"Xorg.0.log" does not exist in /var/log/
Also, i would like to point out :
Remove the UseEDID and Option "AutoAddDevices" "false" lines in /etc/bumblebee/xorg.conf.nvidia. in https://github.com/Bumblebee-Project/Bu … vidia-chip
already the file has both the options as "true", so i did not remove them.

Xorg log: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Xorg#General
Please paste the file you created and that caused the "login loop" and also an according Xorg log - w/o this step you'll *never* invoke the nvidia chip, thus your HDMI output. It's nothing you can just skip on trouble.

Wrong xorg.conf, you're interested in a dualscreen setup, aren't you? Please actually read the bumblebee article.
The output is simply labeled "TV-0", that doesn't matter (those labels are free-form) and kinda fits.
It also means that "DFP" would be the wrong output name, IFF that was the correct xorg.conf for your scenario.
