What is this? Deleting the lock and trying again didn't help. I checked for updates and it doesn't seem like I'm missing any updates to pacman. I then tried installing bittorrent from extra and cairo from current, and both worked fine. Then I tried wine again with no problems.

...which means that you have probably stroke your mirror at the time it was updating wine from 0.9.17-1 to 0.9.18-1
