weird gnome icon theme bug

hey guys, i just came across this...

i have this icon theme named "neutral"...and everything i select it, the entire gnome environment crashes and throws be back to gdm.

unfortunately, once this happens, i am unable to get back into gnome.  it crashes every time trying to load metacity thereafter.

the only way to fix this is to delete all .gnome* related directories.  but the weirdest part is...when i created a new user, the neutral icon theme wasn't on the list anymore, but the old user, it was listed.

how do i permantely delete this icon set?

thanks.

Re: weird gnome icon theme bug

it's listed in ~/.themes and ~/.icons I guess. You can delete the theme to make sure you can login again, there's no need to delete your complete gnome profile just because of a stupid theme. Also, you could start a different environment and use gnome-theme-properties to set the theme outside of gnome.
