The jump from major version 25 to 26 seems to have added the file /usr/share/metainfo/org.bunkus.mkvtoolnix-gui.appdata.xml to the package. However, despite the name of the file seemingly being specific to the gui package, it is also present in mkvtoolnix-cli. The gui package depends on the cli package, but pacman will complain about file conflicts, making it impossible to install. After building the packages myself (which are one package base simply called mkvtoolnix) it seems to have something to do with the find command in the cli package step in the PKGBUILD not recognizing the file in question, probably due to the dots. My knowledge of how to make it behave correctly is limited, so I'll leave someone with more expertise than I to do so.
