Hi, I am a relatively new Arch user and ever since installing I've been getting those two errors which I can't really understand/fix.
Sep 02 14:32:32 nickgarlis kernel: tpm_crb MSFT0101:00: [Firmware Bug]: ACPI region does not cover the entire command/response buffer. [mem 0xfed40000-0xfed4087f flags 0x200] vs fed40080 f80

Does anybody know what's wrong and how to fix this ? Thanks

The only "real" fix for a problem like this is updating your UEFI and hope that the vendor fixed the bug.
The usual course of action is to simply ignore the error, or if you know that you don't need the tpm module and just want to get rid of the messages you could also blacklist tpm_crb

Thanks, I will keep ignoring it if it's not a big deal.

This message appears on my ideapad
dmesg
tpm_crb MSFT0101:00: [Firmware Bug]: Bad ACPI memory layout

And the recommended course of action hasn't changed.
