[solved] fingerprint-gui and wayland warning

Hi guys,

how i can suppress this warning on fingerprint-gui pam's call?

 Warning: Ignoring XDG_SESSION_TYPE=wayland on Gnome. Use QT_QPA_PLATFORM=wayland to run on Wayland anyway 

i'ts annoying when i try to become root by sudo command..

I'm guessing you use https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/fingerprint-gui/ ?

If so, that's a QT5 program.
You do have qt5-wayland installed ?

If yes, set the environment variable QT_QPA_PLATFORM to wayland as the warning message indicates.


Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

I switch to fprint instead, so i close the 3ad
