[SOLVED] Plasma powermanagement settings lag to apply

When plugging or unplugging my laptop, the AC or battery profiles take about a minute to apply.

This happens both when I plug to the laptop to AC or when I unplug it and it's only on battery. This started happening about a month ago and still cannot find the culprit.

I use KDE plasma. No powerdevil errors or relevant messages show in the journal. Any hints? Anyone experienced this before?

Thanks. That seems to be the issue. Also, the workaround in the bug report linked worked.
