how do i submit packages to AUR?
i tried uploading a package but i got an error saying 'Error PKGBIULD not found' or something like that. This was a .tar.bz2 file with the PKGBUILD file in it.

The front page of the AUR (aur.archlinux.org) has a link to the "AUR User Guidelines" which explain all of this.

As stated in AUR User Guidelines, PKGBUILDs and possibly other files should be uploaded inside tar.gz archives.
