GNOME3 password prompt when connecting LUKS drive is unresponsive

Hi everyone,

since the last update I have some trouble connecting my backup disk (LUKS, encrypted). When I connect the external drive, the GNOME3 password prompt for the disk pops up. Unfortunately all buttons are unresponsive and I always have to Ctrl+Alt-F1 out of the situation to reboot. So far I was not able to refresh/reload the gnome session.

Any ideas what I could do to pin down the cause of the problem?
Thank you for your help.

No, it didn't "fix" anything. It just shifted the brokeness one space to the right. - jasonwryan
