wmfocus - Focus windows by label

Hi all, I made a small tool that allows you to focus windows directly by label. Upon opening the tool, it will draw labels on all the windows and show you a bunch of characters to type in order to go there. I found that this is much faster than using the mouse or focus movement controls if you have a large multi-screen setup with tons of open windows.

You can look at it here: https://github.com/svenstaro/wmfocus

AUR package: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/wmfocus

At this point it only supports i3 but it should be easy to write support for additional window managers. It was designed with that in mind.

This is heavily inspired by a tool called i3-easyfocus but that doesn't do TrueType or high DPI.
