[solved] Pulse Audio Volume Control. KDE

I am using KDE and attempting to stream media with Chrome.

The only way I'v found to make this work is to run pvaucontrol then manually select the output device-- in this case an nvidia card.

How can I make applications default to a specific interface?

Set it as default, or "fallback device" in pavucontrol terms

Technically for same application streams, pulse would remember and reuse the last device you put it on, however there seems to be a recent change in chromium (whether that was intended or a bug I don't know yet) that will create a new stream-id for each chromium stream and thus reforce the output to the default device

Thanks. Setting it as the fallback device works.
