[SOLVED] Enlightenment doesn't change my keyboard layout.

For some reason the keyboard layout setting in enlightenment does nothing.

I have the following locales from /etc/locale.gen uncommented and generated:

fi_FI.UTF-8 UTF-8
en_US ISO-8859-1
fi_FI@euro ISO-8859-15
en_US.UTF-8 UTF-8

In /etc/vconsole.conf I have:

KEYMAP=fi

When I boot up and get to the terminal, the layout is finnish. But when I start enlightenment the layout there is US.

In the first time setup of enlightenment I chose US english as the language and finnish keyboard layout. In the taskbar it even showed the finnish flag indicating that the setting had been "aknowledged" but still the layout remained effectively US. There was no error message. This is weird because in my last installation I got the finnish layout working without problems in enlightenment. But then I was using it with X. This time I didn't install the X server and launched an enlightenment wayland session straight from the terminal. Could enlightenment's ability to change keyboard layouts be somehow be dependent on some part of X?

After installing the xorg-server this problem did indeed go away. It's just as well. The wayland implementation of e was buggy anyway.
