Bricked PC after Arch installation.

Hello, sorry for my poor english but it's not my mother lenguage.

I was installing Arch as usual and after the installation reboot my PC just keeps restarting without showing the efi Logo.

I tried to reset the CMOS of the motherboard and I'm having the same issue. I also checked the RAM, PSU and Graphics Card.

My motherboard is an ASUS Z170-P

To install Arch:

1. Created a new partition scheme with gdisk.
2. I formated all the partitions -> Fat -F32 for the EFI and ext4 for the anothers.
3. genfstab
4. Mounted the EFI partition in /boot/efi
5. Installed grub as chroot.

It is possible to recover the Motherboard? I think that maybe it is an issue with the EFI vars but I'm not sure.

Tank you.

Re: Bricked PC after Arch installation.

Are you unable to enter EFI menu at all? Try pressing F2 during boot. If this doesn't work, reset motherboard CMOS. It might be some sort of Windows fastboot thing.

upd: I'm assuming you installed bootloader correctly. It must be added to efivars by grub-install. If you've reset CMOS you'll need to do it again.
