After upgrading today, the tab key no longer works when I use the Power Off application from the search bar. It works if I select the power button from the pull down in the top right corner. I downgraded to previous snapshots from the archives and determined it was working on 09/17/2018 but not on 09/18/2018. The package gnome-shell was upgraded from 3.28.3 to 3.30.0 at this time.
Anyone else seeing this behavior? My steps to reproduce are to type "shu" (without the quotes) in the search bar, which results in Power Off being the only result, then press Enter. Before, the Cancel option would be selected and I could tab to the Restart or Power Off option. Now, even if I click inside the window with the mouse to make sure the window has focus, the tab key does nothing.
UPDATE
I reported an issue with this upstream and it appears a commit was made to address it.
