intel_reg write stops working after dpms was on

Hi everybody!

I have this alias

xs() { xset dpms 123 ; sudo intel_reg write 0xC8254 0x1e851e85 ; light -S 89 ; }

It was working fine until last week. Now when I turn on the monitor after  dpms 123 has been activated the intel_reg write command has to be executed again manually.

How can I make it continue to work without having to execute it again manually every time the dpms 123 was on.
