[SOLVED] thunar missing delete option

I'm not sure if I'm going crazy, I use XFCE and when doing some directory maintenance, I loaded up thunar, and when I went to delete a directory (right click menu) there was no delete option. I could have sworn the right click in thunar had a delete option. Am I crazy? The move to trash is there.

I am owner of the folder and all sub folders/files, that was the first thing I checked.

any ideas?

in mate it is an option of file management -> behaviour

It was made optional in 1.8.2:

You can turn it back on again in Edit > Preferences > Behaviour tab.

Thank you for the solution. I'd noticed this, too. Instead, I've simply been using shift-Del in the meantime.
