Searching for "binfmt-support" in the AUR doesn't yield an exact result. It shows the -git version.
This is a dependency of "amdgpu-pro". I ran across an AUR comment saying they couldn't find it either, but they were able to access the non-git version here: https://aur.archlinux.org/cgit/aur.git/ … mt-support
There, I can view the AUR package's summary, log, tree, commit, diff, and stats pages. I downloaded the PKGBUILD and .service file, so I was able to get past this.
I am wondering if there's a bug in the AUR or a misconfiguration in its database for this package. I was considering emailing the list about it, but figured I should ask here to avoid bugging the list if it's something I just don't know about. Does this mean the package was intentionally deleted, but the "/cgit/aur.git" contents weren't deleted?
Trying to go to where the package would be gets a 404:

Thanks for reporting this oversight. Now the binfmt-support-git package has been deleted as well. https://lists.archlinux.org/pipermail/a … 27220.html
