[SOLVED] BIOS doesn't find bootloader after update

I have Arch installed for quiet some time now. I have 2 disks on my pc, one for Windows and one for Arch, but since my Arch can't read the Windows disk (the RAID controller is not supported), I made an EFI partition on my Arch disk. In the BIOS I could change the bootlader to be loaded, but recently my BIOS was updated and it doesn't find my Arch bootloader anymore (only my windows bootloader).

Any suggestions?

Re: [SOLVED] BIOS doesn't find bootloader after update

BIOS/UEFIs tend to forget everything and do the minimum necessary to reinstate the Windows boot loader during an update. Hence you will have to reinstall/reconfigure the correct boot loader entry for your Arch install again. You can do so from a chroot on a live disk.

Reinstalling GRUB did the job.

Thanks for your reply!
