Pulseaudio/ALSA problems (was working prior)

Hey,

So long story short; I use a VM with qemu-kvm (patched for audio) for gaming in Windows 10. I've had issues with getting my microphone (a USB mic) getting through to the VM, but when I made the move to Arch all I had to do was use a normal ICH9 sound card and it worked.

Fast forward to this week - sometime in the past few days - I had noticed that my mic wasn't working in the VM anymore. I did some light looking around in my QEMU configuration files and such to see if there was anything changed from an update I missed. I don't remember exactly what I messed with next but somehow Pulseaudio had stopped working - I think I was trying different sound hardware settings in my QEMU script. I've spent a decent chunk of my day trying to find the source of the problem, even making sure my headphones are fine by uninstalling pa entirely and using ALSA (which works fine although I can't adjust the volume in software/alsamixer). Jack even works, although I couldn't get the audio quality to be reasonable.

The problem is that pa is running into some sort of error when loading the module module-alsa-card specifically with my headphones. My microphone seems to be working fine with the module, and I've never had any configuration problems before. Literally installed pa when I setup Arch on this PC and never had a problem (besides the VM thing).

So yeah, tried reinstalling pa, removing all the configs and such as well. Reinstalled ALSA too.

Here is the most recent systemd coredump from journalctl:

Just before beginning to recieve these dumps, I can see minor warnings and errors in journalctl:

pulseaudio[622]: W: [alsa-source-USB Audio] asyncq.c: q overrun, queuing locally
pulseaudio[622]: W: [pulseaudio] module.c: module-combine is deprecated: Please use module-combine-sink instead of module-combine!
pulseaudio[622]: W: [pulseaudio] module-combine.c: We will now load module-combine-sink. Please make sure to remove module-combine from your configuration.

These I see on basically every reboot in journalctl:

pulseaudio[622]: E: [alsa-sink-USB Audio] alsa-sink.c: ALSA woke us up to write new data to the device, but there was actually nothing to write.
pulseaudio[622]: E: [alsa-sink-USB Audio] alsa-sink.c: Most likely this is a bug in the ALSA driver 'snd_usb_audio'. Please report this issue to the ALSA developers.
pulseaudio[622]: E: [alsa-sink-USB Audio] alsa-sink.c: We were woken up with POLLOUT set -- however a subsequent snd_pcm_avail() returned 0 or another value < min_avail.
E: [pulseaudio] module.c: Failed to load module "module-rtp-recv" (argument: ""): initialization failed.
pulseaudio[622]: E: [pulseaudio] stdin-util.c: pa_module_load() failed

So somewhere along the way something has gone very wrong.

Headphones: Razer Megalodon, microphone: Blue Snowball, kernel 4.18.16, pulseaudio 12.2.

Any information needed just let me know, I'm going to catch some z's so I can work some more in the morning.

Thanks for your help.

Update your system, you should get the fix for this.

Oh simple as that I guess xD

Sorry I didn't check the bug reports, to be honest it didn't even cross my mind...

Thank you!
