SDDM scaling issue

Hello,
I'm running KDE5 with SDDM. When SDDM is run as root the scaling is wrong, but when running as another user it's fine. I believe there are some Xorg or KDE5 configuration files that are present for my user, but not for root. I even tried copying the whole user home directory to /root, but the problem still persists.

Here are some comparisons
